My long-standing column on wine and drinks for the Telegraph is now in the online edition, going live weekly at telegraph.co.uk It’s your guide to the very best wines and drinks to go out and buy each week, with a firm emphasis on value for money!

My drinks pages in Delicious magazine always carry lots of recommendations and info about the latest best buys and recipe matches each month.

And I write recommendations in the beautiful quarterly publication Food Lifestyle @foodlifestylesw - the insider’s guide to the best food, drink, stays and shops in the South West region. I also freelance for a number of magazines including Decanter.

Wines of Northern Spain, 9 July, Westminster Chapel, London:

A Three Wine Men event which I'll be co-hosting with Luma Monteiro! Join us both from 6-8.30pm and dozens of producers showing fabulous wines from the Toro, Rueda and Navarra regions. Make your way around the stands tasting at your own pace and chatting to the winemakers, merchants and of course to us! Tickets from threewinemen.co.uk

Dorset Seafood Festival, 7 & 8 September, Weymouth Pavilion, Dorset:

I'm back at DSF, a feast of fabulous seafood, chef demos, wine and more! I'll be hosting tastings at the main demo theatre on both afternoons, showing top-notch English fizz and tasting with the crowd. The festival is ticketed but the tastings are included and you just take a seat, no booking needed. Hope to see you there! Funds raised go to the Fishermen's Mission, a very good cause. Wines of New Zealand tasting, 12 September, The Wine Loft, Brixham:

James & Clare Brown of The Wine Loft (wine merchant, tasting room and deli par excellence...) have kindly invited me back to host a lunch and evening tasting of wines from New Zealand after my recent trip to the country. Appledore Book Festival, 19 & 20 September, Devon:

Dartmouth Food Festival, 25 - 27 October:

In my new role as Ambassador for the Dartmouth Food Festival after many years' involvement, I'll be there throughout. And it's an extra special DFF this year as it's the 20th anniversary. I'm hosting a wine seminar of award-winning English wines and co-hosting a wine & food matching lunch with my friend Fiona Beckett. And more!
